Lately, I’ve become obsessed with organizing my house. The warm weather combined with being more well rested has given me a renewed energy to focus on decluttering. Also, I’ve been reading The Happiness Project which reminds me of how much better and well, happier I feel when things are organized. My big goals for organizing are:
1.) Getting baby stuff under control. We have so many toys and clothes but often the things that work/fit right now are buried in with things Liam has outgrown or isn’t ready for yet. I’m trying to make sure I have a system so what is out and accessible is only what is age/size appropriate for Liam while everything else is sorted, labeled and tucked away.
2.) Pantry organization. While I would kill for a pantry that looks like this, I’ll settle for one that is organized enough so I can actually see what we have. Along with this, I’m hoping to get a better system for coupon/menu organization. I haven’t done grocery delivery yet but after Organized Mom’s post about it, I’m certainly tempted.
3.) Craft clutter control. I have taken over our guest room with craft supplies. I have to figure out a way that I can find things when I need them but that they are tucked away when we have guests.
4.) Closet organization. There is no way a person with as many clothes as I have should struggle to find an outfit in the morning. I’m hoping a re-org will keep me from unnecessarily buying new clothes because I lack inspiration from my crazy closet.
In my search for organization ideas, Pinterest came up big. Here are a few of my favorites finds:
How about you?
Any big spring cleaning projects you’re tackling?

I like using diaper boxes to store my kids clothes. They can be easily labeled (cross off and relabeled) and are in abundance at my house.
I’m also spring cleaning in this traditional sense, but also unconventionally; “de-cluttering” but making simple changes to my daily routine. I write about this in a recent blog post.. enjoy! http://ifcoffeecouldtalk.wordpress.com/2012/04/25/unconventional-spring-cleaning/?tw_p=twt
I am loving the T-shirt filing system, it looks awesome! What a great idea, thanks very much for sharing you blog
