I’m expecting my first baby and am so excited. However, I recently started to wonder how my other first baby (my 2 year old yellow lab!) is going to handle this BIG change in our lives. He’s very even tempered and is good with young kids but I’m wondering if there is any way to start prepping him for our new family member. I’ve heard animals can get thrown off by all the new baby items, smells, etc. Have any of you gone through this? Any tips to share?
The Humane Society provides a lot of good tips for preparing your household & animals for a new baby. Check out this site: http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/pets_babies.html
