Safe Bug Repellent for Babies?
- July 15, 2013 at 9:08 am #20400
Are there brands of bug repellent that are safer for use on babies than others? I’ve never used any with my son before, but the mosquitos have gotten really bad around us lately. I try to avoid using products with too many chemicals on him, so I’m wondering if others have any good suggestions.July 23, 2013 at 6:25 am #20402
Hello! We have tried a few different brands and are having success with "California babies". We bought it at Whole Foods and it comes in a spray bottle. So far it works really well and it’s all natural. I work with chemical risk assessments so I’m very aware of trying to limit chemical exposures to our little one! Give it a shot!July 23, 2013 at 11:46 am #20403
Check out the EWG website, they have great info on bug repellent, safe cleaning products, sunscreen, etc.http://www.ewg.org/research/ewgs-guide-bug-repellentsJuly 29, 2013 at 7:17 am #20404
