DIY Table Decoration

I bought Magic Nuudles last summer at my local craft store…they have been sitting on the shelf in my home office ever since.  This weekend we finally got them out and started playing.  Why didn’t I open the bag sooner!!  They are basically colored versions of the biodegradable packing peanuts.  You touch them to a wet sponge or paper towel and they stick together.

My daughter and her grandfather spent at least half an hour building towers and making flowers.  It was such a fun mess-free project!  And, the “sculptures” held up really well, we still have a bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table.

I blogged about these before too – http://blogs.brighthorizons.com/familyroom/2009/09/magic-nuudles/

I’m a huge fan and had the same experience, why didn’t we use them earlier?? Too funny.
