New Year’s Resolutions: Take Two
Since the new year is upon us again, I decided to revisit my resolutions from last year. I’m embarrassed to report that the only one I was successful with was turning the water off while brushing my teeth. I didn’t start to compost, go to one farmer’s market and I still have too many Target bags hanging off of my pantry door. This year, I hope to do better, though now I have a baby AND a toddler so things seem harder to manage rather than easier.
5 New Year’s Resolutions for 2010
1. Serve more vegetables.
2. Eat as a family at least three nights a week. My husband doesn’t get home until an hour or more after I do, so eating together as a family of 4 almost never happens.
3. Stop feeling guilty about not staying home with baby #2 as long as I did with #1 and for not making his baby food like I did for his older brother.
4. Put laundry away as soon as it is folded so it doesn’t pile up and take an hour to organize and put away on the weekends.
5. Don’t stress out when starting to toilet train my toddler since he turns three this year. This, I’m sure, will be the hardest one to follow.
