#SocialParenting: Thankful Hands Project – Teaching Children about Gratitude
What is your child thankful for? Preschool and Kindergarten Prep students at Bright Horizons at Brighton (Allston, MA) recently participated in a “Thankful Hands” activity to show what they are thankful for through art. After reading a story about gratitude, the students discussed the things they are thankful for as a group. With guidance from their teachers, the children traced hand prints for each of the things they are thankful – moms, dads, siblings, firemen…and yes, even pizza!

What Are You Thankful For? Show It With Artwork.
Show us what you or your child is grateful for by submitting a drawing, painting, or collage to our Voices of Gratitude campaign! Entries will be used to create a mosaic that will be displayed in Bright Spaces across the country! Participation is easy. You can submit photos of artwork on:
