I just signed up for Weight Watchers…for the third time. The first time I did really well and lost 20 pounds and it didn’t seem that hard. Then, I got pregnant with my second child. When I was pregnant, I totally gave in to all of my cravings and ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Because I was extremely ill for the first 4 months of pregnancy, I didn’t gain as much weight as I would have thought based on what I was eating. 6 weeks after my son was born, I signed up for Weight Watchers but wasn’t mentally prepared to follow the program. Now, since I’ve gained weight since the holidays, none of my clothes fit and I feel really frumpy. I’m ready to jump back on the wagon.
My problem– many of the people on Weight Watchers try to find ways to make “real food” (ice cream sandwiches, chicken parm etc.) out of fake ingredients (Cool Whip and fat free cheese) and we try to eat all natural products in my house. Real butter and full fat shredded cheese cost many more Points than all of the fake food. I’m going to try my best to stay true to my all natural diet and find foods that satisfy me but any help you can provide is appreciated.
